A contract is priced against the size of the league, so there is no figure here that would be wrong for half the people reading it. No card is taken — contracts are invoiced and paid by transfer or cheque.

What a league gets that a coach cannot buy

  • One rubric, centrally set. The league's own scoring cues, authored once and used by every coach on it — so a "consistent" in the under-11s means what it means in the under-15s.
  • Age-appropriate by rule, not by hope. The league sets its age band, and the platform enforces what that band allows: below it, a player is measured against their own history rather than ranked against other children, and there is no composite score at all.
  • Seats you allocate. A contract includes a number of coach seats. You assign them, you move them between coaches mid-season, and a seat over the included number appears as a line on the next invoice rather than being blocked at the worst moment.
  • A record you can answer for. Who was granted what, who published which report, which consents are signed and which are outstanding — as a compliance view, not as a log you have to grep.
  • Participation, in numbers. Minutes, rotation fairness and equal-playing-time totals per squad, so a conversation with a parent is about a figure rather than a memory.
  • Nobody impersonated, including you. Automated messages say they are automated. The platform never writes as a coach or as the league.

How a contract works

One You tell us the size Squads, age groups, roughly how many coaches would use a seat. That is the whole quote conversation — there is no sales queue behind this.
Two SCAN writes the contract A term, a base, the seats it includes and the price of one beyond that. A league cannot set its own price and neither can a coach; that is deliberate.
Three You run it Seats, coaches, squads and the rubric are yours to manage from the league dashboard. Invoices are numbered, frozen when issued, and paid the way your treasurer already pays things.

A coach who was paying for their own seat before the league arrived keeps everything they have; the seat simply moves onto the contract and they stop being billed.

The part worth reading twice

This platform holds video of children. Everything below is how it behaves by default, not a setting somebody has to find.

Consent gates the feature, not the paperwork

Video and Combine stay locked for a child until a verified parent or guardian has signed. It is enforced at the point of use, every time, not checked once at sign-up.

A pending link grants nothing

An invitation that has not been accepted confers no access to anything — not the child's reports, not their video, not their record.

A human publishes every number

No score reaches a family without a coach releasing it. The platform will not publish on a coach's behalf, however confident the read.

Erasure is answered by a person

A family's erasure request lands on a screen somebody works, with a record of what was done about it.
